New England Revolution
Something you've probably never heard of
The Drug Is Football was founded in 2010 as a New England Soccer and subculture blog. The site has featured extensive news and commentary on the New England Revolution. International recognition came from the the extensive reporting, commentary and firsthand accounts provided about a 2011 incident betwwen the New England Revolution and it's supporters known as "Fortgate". In 2014 a TDIF report coincided wiht an article in the Boston Globe detailing the possibility of a new stadium for New England, providing design firm drawings and maps able to add context and confirm the story to a very skeptical fan base.
TDIF has issue two print editions, one in the summer of 2013 and another in the spring of 2014. Since then TDIF has been on a hiatus. We are happy to bring back TDIF in 2016 in a new format. TDIF will be a new source for American soccer and culture features and commentary, focusing on MLS, NASL, USMNT, music, art and lifestyle.
